are dogs allowed at welcome to thornbury?

Dogs are most welcome! They just need to be on a leash and preferably not pooping ;)

how do i get there? is there parking?

Welcome to Thornbury is easily accessible by public transport with the 86 tram stop right outside and Croxton train station a few minutes walk away. There is also limited on street parking around the venue.

is the venue accessible?

Yes. The venue, toilets and market are all accessible.

is there food and drinks available?

Welcome to Thornbury is a bar and beer garden, with a handful of food trucks. There will be a bar within the market itself and we encourage you to enjoy their hospitality and offerings before and after visiting the market.

There is also an arcade if you need a break from perusing all the wares!

can i use cash?

Not all stallholders will have cash, so please bring your debit, credit cards, or digital payment devices.​

are children welcome?

Children are more than welcome at our daytime events! However, our After Dark markets during the evening are strictly 18+.

can i get a ticket refund?

Refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the event.

Can I get a pass out to leave the market and come back?

Yes. Every ticket holder gets a wristband allowing them to come and go. This way you can enjoy the food trucks and arcade at your leisure!

can i buy tickets on the door?

Yes, but tickets on the door are subject to availability. To avoid disappointment, purchase yours ahead of time online!

can i still get in if i miss my entry time?

Of course! You may just have to wait in line a little longer.

what kind of stuff can i expect to see?

Every event we put on has a different dark theme but you can always expect spooky cute! We have 60+ local alternative designers with goods like ceramics, jewellery, art, stationery, nibbles, clothing, and even some tattoo artists! Added to that there are craft activities, tarot readings, portrait photography and Boo Fest merch.
